What a nostalgic picture… Especially the one on the left.  Its a steam hammer!!! Haven’t come encounter one since year 2000.    The last time i use this hammer, Vulcan Hammer was during onboard DB 30 installing ANGP-A 8 legged jacket for Petronas Carigali Malaysia.  Nowdays most of the time; or i would say every piling works i encounter would be utilizing Hydraulic Hammer, specifically Menck Hydraulic Hammer.  No more steam hammer.  Even DB 30 (If i’m not mistaken) have removed the steam vessel for the steam hammer (Which last time was installed permanently onboard the barge).  (more…)

3. Register with http://JobStreet.com.my .  Most of the time the vacancies are advertised here.  Or checkout the SapuraCrest Company Profile on JobStreet.
4. Sent your resume to any of your friends/relatives works within SapuraCrest Group of Companies but again your resume will be filtered by the HR Department and give no significance difference compare to send it directly to hrd@sapuracrest.com.my
5. Contact manpower supply companies in Malaysia and give them you resume.  In some cases  Workers are supplied by these manpower supply company (Most of them riggers, helpers, welders, fitters & some marine crews).  Here are some of the said companies;
