PETRONAS AWARDS BLOCK PM314 TO TALISMAN MALAYSIA AND PETRONAS CARIGALI
PETRONAS today signed a new Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for Block PM-314 offshore Peninsular Malaysia with Talisman Malaysia Ltd and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, following the expiry of the PSC for the block awarded in 1998 to Amerada Hess Malaysia.
Under the terms of the new PSC, Talisman Malaysia as operator will hold a 60 per cent equity interest in the block, while PETRONAS Carigali, the exploration and production (E&P) subsidiary of PETRONAS, holds the remaining 40 per cent interest. (more…)
PETRONAS UNVEILS SYNTIUM 5000 – THE FIRST IN MALAYSIA TO EXCEED LATEST INTERNATIONAL LUBRICANT STANDARDS
PETRONAS today launched its range of breakthrough lubricants – the PETRONAS SYNTIUM 5000 – the first in Malaysia to have exceeded the stringent performance standards of API SM and ILSAC GF-4 set by two renowned international governing bodies, the American Petroleum Institute (API) and International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC).
The fully synthetic PETRONAS SYNTIUM 5000 range is the next generation of environment-friendly lubricants that provides better fuel economy, outstanding power output, superior engine cleanliness and superior engine protection.
