PETRONAS AWARDS TWO OFFSHORE BLOCKS TO NEWFIELD AND PETRONAS CARIGALI
PETRONAS today signed two Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) with Newfield Exploration Company of the United States and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for Block PM318 offshore Peninsular Malaysia and Deepwater Block 2C offshore Sarawak.
Block PM318 covers an area of about 1,600 square kilometres and is situated about 300 kilometres offshore Kertih in water depths ranging from 60 to 80 metres. The block is located in the Malay Basin, which is an established oil and gas producing area. (more…)
PETRONAS ANNOUNCES TITLE SPONSORSHIP FOR THE 2004 SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL RACE FESTIVAL
Shanghai, 17 May 2004: Petroliam Nasional Berhad or PETRONAS, the Malaysian oil and gas conglomerate, today announces its commitment to undertake the role of the title sponsor for the coming 2004 Shanghai International Race Festival.
Scheduled from 16 to 18 July, the event, to be officially known as the PETRONAS Shanghai International Race Festival 2004, features a street race for various classes of cars on the streets of Shanghai with German Touring Car series, Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters (DTM), as its main highlight.
