Petronas Offshore Oil & Gas Latest NewsPETRONAS would like to inform that its 24-hour Information Hotline set up following the September 11 incidents in the US will be operational from 8.00am to 8:00pm with effect from 20 October 2001.The change in operating hours of the 1-800-88-3500 Hotline is due to the reduction in the number of telephone calls and enquiries received by the call centre. MLNG SIGNS SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH SHIKOKU ELECTRIC

Petronas Offshore Oil & Gas Latest NewsMalaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG), a subsidiary of PETRONAS, has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Shikoku Electric Power Co., Inc. (Shikoku Electric) to supply up to 420,000 metric tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 15 years beginning 1st April 2010, with an option to extend for additional five years. The SPA sealed the Confirmation of Intent signed by both parties in January 2006.The SPA was signed in Kuala Lumpur today by Tan Sri Dato Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, Chairman of MLNG and Mr. Momoki Tokiwa, President of Shikoku Electric. PETRONAS AWARDS BLOCKS SB 312 TO PETRONAS CARIGALI AND KUFPEC

Petronas Offshore Oil & Gas Latest NewsPETRONAS has awarded a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for offshore Block SB 312 to PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd and Kufpec.Block SB 312, covering an area of approximately 2,900 square km, is located about 80 km offshore Kota Kinabalu in water depths ranging from 60 to 150 metres.

Under the terms of the PSC, PETRONAS Carigali will own a 60 per cent interest in and will operate the block. Kufpec has the remaining 40 per cent interest and will carry 20 per cent of PETRONAS Carigali’s interest during the PSC’s exploration period. (more…)
