Subsea Pipeline Installation : Shore Approach Work

Here is the summary of OIC responsibility on the scope of shore approach work during typical shallow water pipelay operations:

Site preparation and pre-installation surveys of the landfall sections on the beach. Beach will be surveyed 1000 meters on both sides of the Pipeline route.
Mobilisation of civil works including all measures for ensuring security, safety and environmental aspects of the work.
Carry out required civil works necessary for the “preparation to pull”.
Pre-trench or dredge as required by Project Drawings for pipeline stability during installation work.
Bury the pipelines at the shore approaches as per the Project Drawings for pipeline stability during installation work.
Pipeline pull to shore.
pipeline shore crossing installations and tie-in to beach valves.
Hydrostatic testing of the Pipeline sections prior to Pipeline burial.
Post-installation survey.
Beach cleaning and reinstatement works.
Provision of a map of the as-laid Pipelines to client upon completing post-installation survey.
